Dennis Kingery

Treasurer

Dennis Kingery serves as Chief Financial Officer at Frontwave Credit Union, bringing more than 25 years of financial leadership and over two decades of experience in the credit union industry.

Since joining Frontwave in 2023, Dennis has helped strengthen the organization's financial stewardship, operational resiliency, and long-term strategic growth. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement that supports both employees and the communities Frontwave serves.

Dennis earned bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Finance from McPherson College before serving as a volunteer teacher in Nigeria for two years. He later earned a master's degree in International Development from the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Throughout his career, Dennis has held executive leadership positions across the financial services industry, including Director of Credit Union Operations at Church of the Brethren Credit Union, Senior Director of Finance at Westerra Credit Union, and Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Sales & Services Officer at San Diego County Credit Union. Prior to joining Frontwave, he served as Vice President of Finance for San Diego Workforce Partnership.

Dennis has also dedicated his time to nonprofit and educational organizations, serving as a trustee for McPherson College and as a board member and committee chair for Eder Financial. His commitment to servant leadership and community impact aligns closely with the mission of the Frontwave Foundation.
