Why It Matters
Nearly 20,000 people in Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. For many, even the basics—like a clean toothbrush or deodorant—are out of reach. But these small essentials can spark real change. Basic hygiene supports physical health, boosts self-esteem, and opens doors to employment and services. When someone feels clean, they feel human again—and that’s often the first step toward hope and opportunity.
How Your Donation Helps
Each kit we are creating includes essentials like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine care items, wipes, and basic first aid supplies. These items help people feel clean, seen, and cared for. Frontwave Credit Union employees will personally build each kit and deliver to trusted nonprofit partners, who will distribute them directly to people in need throughout the region. As a registered 501(c)(3), the Frontwave Foundation provides tax receipts for all donations.
